Here comes another one of my entries about LIFE...hehe...so recently I have been observing and noticing how easily we just get absorbed and lost in day-to-day life. Working around the clock and having no room to breathe...
Today I happened to spend sometime with this kid...blowing bubbles and just running around trying to catch them...it was fun indeed...bubbles bubbles every-where and we jumping up-down to catch 'em...aren't we also doing the same...Running after things we think will bring happiness and we try hard to get them...
The funny part is, just as kids, we the grown-ups love to live in the illusion that catching one of these bubbles we can hold them..haaha...but certain moments of happiness are ephemeral just like these bubbles..the more we try to hold onto them..the sooner they will burst...
so just enjoy each little reason to smile and spread your sunshine all around..running after bubbles may or may not be a good idea..
Cheers!

While the bubble catching Vs happiness seeking analogy is good,
How would u relate to the "smile and spread your sunshine all around" in terms of bubbles??.
What is one to do, if the individual decides not to chase bubbles ? ;)
Hi,
I have been following your blogs for sometime now.
This post is really a nice way to look at the things that we tend to miss, as they are too obvious! We don't recognise the happiness associated with things that seem mundane.
I like the analogy that you pulled here. By the way, your other posts are pleasurable too.
Keep Writing!

I think this blog is a note for small happiness(which many people neglect) and big hapiness(might not be an apropriate word to address the meaning I intend)
Actually happiness is a sumation of Pleasure, Engagement and meaning. Pleasure can be obtained in any manner may be as simple as the one narrated here. Engagement is obtaned by devoting oneself completely into something and getting absorbed into it. Meaning include acts to help someone or thank someone.
Now the idea conveyed in this blog as far as I think is "Engagement often gets dominant ad overrules other two factors of hapiness"
